A compact 3.6 m fully welded aluminium fishing boat with 3 mm marine-grade plate, a wide modified-V hull and a full flat deck, designed for two anglers. The Forge 360 is the next boat in the Drakōn range, laser-cut and welded in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga.

Why the Forge 360?
The Forge 360 is a compact aluminium fishing boat for anglers who want a strong hull, an open deck and nothing they don’t need. There are no bulky consoles or moulded interiors, just a fully welded 3 mm aluminium hull, a full flat deck and simple tiller steering.
At 3.6 m long and 1.65 m wide, it has the broad proportions of a real fishing platform, and its modified-V hull gives it a sharper, more purposeful bow than a traditional flat-bottom jon boat. It’s made for bass fishing, freshwater dams and sheltered inland waters, recreational boating and light utility work.
It joins the Fury 500 and Fire 510 as part of the Drakōn Boats range of fully welded aluminium boats. The hull is being finalised now, and the Forge 360 is the next boat we build.
3 mm Plate, Fully Welded
The Forge 360 hull is built from 3 mm 5754 marine-grade aluminium plate. That’s substantial plating for a boat of this size, where lighter-gauge sheet is common, and it gives you a hull made to take launching, retrieval and everyday knocks on the bank.
Every panel is laser-cut for an accurate fit, then fully welded in our eMalahleni workshop. Two laser-cut, press-braked hat-section stringers run fore and aft under the floor to stiffen the bottom, with a small bow deck up front.
Aluminium is tough, low-maintenance and repairable, which is why every Drakōn boat is built from it.

Room to Fish
The full flat deck is the heart of the Forge 360. With no console or built-in seat boxes in the way, the interior is open, usable floor from the bow deck back to the transom: room to stand and cast, move around, and carry rods, tackle, a cooler or gear for light work.
- Full flat deck: an open utility floor with minimal obstructions.
- Wide proportions: a 1.65 m beam (1.35 m at the chine) on a 3.6 m hull gives you a broad working platform.
- Clear cockpit: tiller steering means no console taking up floor space.
- Two swivel seat bases as standard: flush-mounted through the floor, with the helm position offset to starboard for the tiller and the front position centred. Fold-down seats are an optional extra.
- Built for two: rated for 2 adults.
Hull and Power
Modified-V hull
- Single-chine modified-V hull.
- Deadrise rises from about 10° at the transom to about 22° at the bow, so the hull is sharper forward for chop and flatter aft under the cockpit.
- More V forward than a conventional flat-bottom jon boat, on wide fishing proportions.
Simple power
- Rated for outboards up to 25 hp maximum.
- Long-shaft transom for a 20" (508 mm) outboard.
- Tiller steering, with no cables or console to install.
- A small outboard costs less to buy and service.
