These custom replacement hatch lids are fabricated from 4 mm marine-grade aluminium to provide a significantly stronger and more rigid alternative to thin aluminium or fibreglass hatch panels commonly found on many boats.

The thicker aluminium plate greatly improves structural stiffness, reducing hatch flex when stepped on and providing better resistance to impact and long-term fatigue. This results in a more solid deck feel and improved durability over time.

These lids are suitable for both aluminium and fibreglass boats where existing hatch panels are prone to bending, flexing or cracking.

Each hatch lid is manufactured to order to match the required opening dimensions and mounting arrangement. Lids can be supplied plain aluminium or prepared for carpet or other deck coverings, depending on the intended application.

Fitment:
Custom manufactured to order. Customers must supply hatch opening dimensions and mounting details prior to fabrication. Or you can bring your boat in and we will take measurements.
